About Us A.S.D. Unique Services is a family run business. Our inspiration for opening our first home came from working directly with adults on the autistic spectrum. During this time we identified that there were very few specialist provisions locally that focussed on the uniqueness of each individual with autism. On recognising this, we pursued our dreams and proudly opened our first specialist service in September 1998. We feel privileged to have been able to support so many wonderful people and their families on our journey so far. Dominic and Francesca Kennard Our Vision To promote a world where people with learning disabilities and autism are valued members of their communities. Our Mission We are passionate in our commitment to enable each of our Service Users to live as independently as their disability will allow. To provide long term specialist care for adults who have the capability to present challenging behaviours and display complex needs. To identify the barriers created by the individual’s learning disability/autism. To provide the necessary support systems to help each of our Service Users overcome their fears and frustrations; empowering them to live happily via more effective and acceptable methods of communication. To provide encouragement and continually assess the needs of our Service Users and staff team.
